Join the Finger Lakes Mindfulness Meditation Group to learn about the four practices of Vipassana meditation: Sila (Morality), Samhdi (Concentration on mind), Panna (Wisdom), and Metta (Loving-kindness). The group will watch/listen to a talk by the meditation teacher S.N. Goenka. Those new to meditation can learn the first of the two meditation techniques called Anapana Meditation (Awareness of the natural breath). The group will then practice Anapana meditation followed by a short session of Metta meditation. All that come are asked to only practice Anapana or Vipassana Meditation during the session.
